An educational service provider seeks an SEN Outreach Tutor to support primary or secondary-aged students with special educational needs in their homes or communities. The role emphasizes delivering tailored lessons and fostering strong relationships with students and families. Ideal candidates will have proven experience with SEN learners and excellent communication skills. This position offers flexible arrangements and the chance to make a significant impact in students' lives.
Location: London Borough of Barking and Dagenham
Focus: 1:1 Tuition for Primary or Secondary-Aged Students with SEN in the home or the community
Provision Type: Educated Other Than at School (EOTAS)
Pay up to £25 per hour umbrella for qualified tutors/teachers to start
Minimum 2 hours per day Term Time Only. Between 9:30am and 4pm
Immediate Start ongoing as long as you want students!
We're proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking alternative provision to recruit dedicated EOTAS Tutors to deliver personalised educational programmes to students with SEN needs, in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. These students are currently educated outside of a traditional school environment, and your role will be pivotal in helping them re-engage with learning and build brighter futures.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators looking to make a meaningful impact in a flexible, non-mainstream setting.
As an EOTAS Tutor, you'll work closely with SEN learners, either one-to-one or in small groups, in community-based settings or at home. Your focus will be on promoting academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth-while building strong relationships with both learners and their families. Students will require support with English and Maths as a minimum.
