Job summary

Overview

Remedy are currently recruiting for a busy Secondary special educational needs school located in Greenwich and are looking to recruit fantastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work in their KS3 and KS4 learners. Experience with learners with physical disability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a busy SEND school for KS3 and KS4 learners.
• Lead a class without a teacher present and support pupils with complex and profound special educational needs.
• Support learners with physical disabilities as needed.

About You

• Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification.
• A strong understanding or passion for working with individuals with complex and profound special educational needs.
• Practical experience of leading a class without a teacher present.

We welcome applications from candidates not experienced with SEND but have previous Secondary HLTA experience. We will also consider applications from teacher training graduates who want SEND experience before embarking on their future teaching career.
