Job summary

A national training provider in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Employability Programme Manager to lead delivery for post-16 SEN learners. The role encompasses managing relationships, recruiting staff, designing the programme, and ensuring compliance with Ofsted. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing employability provisions, a track record in SEN settings, and a driving license to cover Birmingham. The position offers a competitive salary of £35,000, 24 days annual leave, and a pension contribution.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing an Employability provision.
  • Experience in working within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Education Inspection Framework (EIF).

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with schools, colleges, employers, and local authorities.
  • Recruit and support Tutors and staff for the programme.
  • Design and implement the Employability programme.
  • Oversee delivery at employer sites.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies like Ofsted.
  • Manage the operation including targets, budget, and performance.

Skills

Experience in managing an Employability provision
Track record of working within an SEN setting
Knowledge of Ofsted and EIF
Generated relationships with external partners
Experience in managing a team
Full driving licence with access to Birmingham
