We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Cover Supervisor to join a school team as soon as possible. You will provide essential support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, supervising lessons in the absence of teachers and ensuring students remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

Duties as SEN Cover Supervisor
  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain focused and on task.

  • Provide targeted support for students with SEN, implementing strategies recommended by the SENCo or teaching staff.

  • Maintain positive behaviour management, following school policies and procedures.

  • Assist with preparation of learning materials and resources.

  • Record and report on pupil behaviour and progress during supervised lessons.

Ideal Cover Supervisor
  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a SEN Cover Supervisor.

  • Ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Patient, flexible, and proactive in supporting pupil learning.
