Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and filing of VAT returns.
  • Liaising with clients to collate financial records.
  • Completing payroll services for clients, including end-of-year returns.
  • Assisting junior staff with preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns.
  • Supporting the Director with engagement letters and onboarding documentation.
  • Company secretarial duties including setting up limited companies.
  • Setting up payroll and registering clients for VAT.
  • Assisting the Director in maintaining and updating the client database.

Semi Senior/Senior Accountant | Worksop S80 1PH | Full Time, Office-based | 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm | £26,000 - £32,000, depending on experience

Our client is a small but growing accountancy firm with a wide and varied client base. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Semi Senior/Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or part-qualified candidate, with full support offered towards completing further training.
