Overview

This well-established, yet entrepreneurial Accountancy firm has experienced stratospheric growth through 2019 and exciting expansion plans for 2020 to further assert their position as commercially focused and technologically advanced. The client has been at the forefront of cloud-based accountancy technology and has partnered with Xero from the early stages, championing the product with their client base of national and some international businesses. They are seeking to recruit a new team of driven, career-focused Semi Seniors/ Assistant Client Managers to work closely with their diverse client portfolios. In this role you will be much more than an accountant, acting as a trusted advisor to your clients and getting involved in the commercials and finances at a granular level. You will gain experience in accountancy as well as business management and operations as you work cohesively with your clients to help them achieve their short- and long-term business aims.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with an interesting and diverse client portfolio.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, getting involved in the commercials and finances at a granular level.
  • Contribute to clients’ short- and long-term business aims through strong accountancy and advisory support.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to support business management and operational needs.
What experience and qualifications are required
  • You will likely be working for a more traditional Accountancy practice and will have sound knowledge and experience of general bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, VAT returns, tax returns and management accounts.
  • You will be conversant with Sage Line 50, Iris and ideally have experience using cloud-based systems such as Xero.
