Security Service Engineer (Site-Based) | Full Time | London - Westminster to Embankment (Static Site)

Travel Requirements: Travel to and from static site (annual train ticket provided)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic + overtime opportunities

About The Role

This site-based role will focus on maintaining, supporting, and servicing enterprise-level security systems across a high-profile location in Central London. Working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), the position offers overtime when required but does not involve a callout rota.

The role requires a proactive, technically capable engineer with strong enterprise system knowledge, including C-Cure, Gallagher, and Synergy, and the ability to obtain DV clearance (minimum SC). Manufacturer training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities

General:

  • Provide a reliable, courteous, and effective service at all times.
  • Maintain professional standards of communication and presentation on site.
  • Ensure service visits are closed/updated via the helpdesk.
  • Deliver consistently high levels of performance, demonstrating a flexible and positive approach.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Undertake any additional duties required to deliver excellent service to the client.

Site-Based:

  • Day-to-day service, maintenance, and support of integrated access control and security systems (C-Cure, Gallagher, Synergy).
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and project works as required.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and testing.
  • Support the security infrastructure across the site to ensure compliance and uptime.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth system operation.
What You'll Need
  • Must hold or be able to achieve DV Developed Vetting (minimum SC clearance).
  • Proven experience working with enterprise-level security systems.
  • Knowledge of C-Cure, Gallagher, and Synergy essential.
  • Organised, methodical, and able to work independently on a static site.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Education/Experience
  • Previous experience in a security service engineering role (site-based or enterprise environments).
  • Familiarity with complex, integrated security systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair access control and related systems.
  • Additional knowledge of CCTV, networks, or perimeter detection desirable
