Job summary

A leading global security and outsourcing group is seeking a Security Officer in Northampton. In this role, you will ensure safety, provide excellent customer service, and perform various patrol and gatehouse duties. Ideal candidates will be over 18, team players, and have good IT knowledge. A great opportunity to work as a Security Officer for a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

Position: Security Officer

Location: Northampton

Pay Rate: £ per hour

Hours: 60 hours per week minimum

Shifts: Monday to Friday - nights

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer you will be ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile.

Other elements of the role will include

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
• Conducting searches when required
• Gatehouse duties
• Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
• Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work Monday to Friday on the night shift.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training for suitable candidates.
