Overview

CANADIAN CORPS OF COMMISSIONAIRES – KINGSTON & REGION DIVISION is accepting applications for part-time and full-time positions for Security Guards in the Kingston District for federal, commercial and construction contracts.

• Part-Time and Full-Time positions
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a reliability and/or secret clearance (To expedite a RELIABILITY CLEARANCE it requires living in Canada for 5 years , for SECRET CLEARANCE requires living in Canada for 10 years )

Employment Qualifications

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
• be eligible to work and reside in Canada
• be computer literate
• hold a current; Ontario Driver’s License, Ontario Security Guard License and current First Aid Certificate
• provide a driver’s abstract and pass a CPIC check
• pass a Federal Security Clearance and/or Vulnerable Sector check
• be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays
• responsible for transportation to and from work
• have a good understanding of speaking, reading and writing English. French or other languages will be an asset

Security is not a Mon – Friday, 9 to 5 job.
Security services are 24/7 operation. To meet our clients’ needs, our Guards positions involve rotating shifts. These shifts include overnights, evenings, weekends, some day shifts and Holidays.
