Job description

Security Consultant – Corsham – 6 Months – £600 – £650pd (Outside of IR35)

People Source Consulting are currently a Security Consultant (formerly known as Security Assurance Coordinator or SAC) to take on a 6‑month contract in Corsham. The role is immediately available.

Required skills and experience

• Significant experience providing technical security support on Government projects, working to HMG Policy and guidelines.
• Experience of reviewing, writing, and completing RMADS.
• Experience working within client Security regime and understanding of security policy and requirements (JSP 440, JSP 604 etc).
• Produce, review, manage technical risk assessments.

Ideal candidate profile

Ideal candidates should have proven experience within an MOD / Defence Digital environment and hold some or several of the following accreditations and qualifications:

• CCP SIRA qualified
• Ex CLAS
• NIST
• CISSP
• CISSM
• ISO27001SC as a minimum

Ideally, DV clearance will be required prior to starting, so all candidates should either hold existing clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo clearance.

Contract details

£600 - £650pd (DOE). 2‑3 days per week in Corsham as required. 6‑month contract.
