What you'll do
  • Drive New Business: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for Aggreko's critical power solutions within the Data Centre and Utilities sectors across the UK and Ireland.
  • Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring Aggreko is the partner of choice for mission-critical power needs.
  • Solution Selling: Work closely with technical teams to develop tailored proposals, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer requirements, site constraints, and the unique challenges of uptime-sensitive environments.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in Data Centres and Utilities, using insights to inform sales strategies and maintain Aggreko's competitive edge.
  • Project Collaboration: Support the delivery of complex projects by collaborating with project managers, engineers, and service teams to ensure seamless handover from sales to execution.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide regular forecasts, and deliver against ambitious revenue and margin targets.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Aggreko at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, upholding the company's reputation for reliability, innovation, and service excellence.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the critical power, Data Centre, or Utilities sectors.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate complex power solutions (generators, UPS, switchgear, load banks, etc.).
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach to solution selling.
  • Commercial awareness, with experience working to revenue and margin targets.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently across a large geographic territory.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland, as required.
  • Full UK driving licence.
