A leading civil engineering firm in Greater London is hiring a Section Engineer to oversee quality and safety for Highway projects. The ideal candidate should possess highway schemes experience, leadership skills, and a degree in Civil Engineering. This role provides the chance to manage a team, ensuring high standards on projects. We are looking for someone with previous experience in working on Highway schemes and will ideally be located close to the M25. This role will be working days or nights depending on the project and occasional weekends, The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of ITPs and quality assurance process and working with specification documents. You should have good leadership skills and understanding of construction practices and be able to work independently.
Already working as a Section Engineer or looking for that next step after a Site Engineer, you will have experience of working on infrastructure projects preferably with Highways with a main contractor. Must also have a CSCS card in the appropriate discipline and ideally educated with a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent. You will have a SSTS card, First Aid and NRWSA and Cat and Genny. Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential and the successful candidate will be happy to travel across the region.
