Location: Monmouthshire, South Wales | Pay Rate: £172.98 per day | Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Contract: Full Academic Year

About the Role

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School Teacher to join one of our trusted partner schools in the Monmouthshire area.

This position involves teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to support Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and subject specialism. You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to a positive school environment. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in wider school life through extracurricular activities, clubs, and school events.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who:

  • Have or are wanting experience teaching in a secondary school setting (KS3/KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
  • Can plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Are committed to student development and wellbeing
  • Are passionate about making a positive impact in education
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards completion

We can support you in obtaining the following if needed:

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • At least two recent professional references
