Secondary Teacher, Abingdon

We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled Secondary Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Abingdon.

Overview

An extremely welcoming and inclusive secondary school are looking for a full time teacher to join their school in January 2026. The school will be able to offer full‑time supply work, covering a variety of pre‑planned lessons. As a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the cover manager who will provide you with a daily timetable, lesson plans, the behaviour management policy and a network of support staff.

Pay

Daily rate of pay will start at £145 and can increase to £232.57 for more experienced teachers with UK recognised QTS.

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Teaching a variety of lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
