Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified SEN teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Ware. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Years 7 and 8 with special educational needs. This is an immediate start position until July, and the successful candidate will be required to complete all the duties required of a qualified teacher, including planning and assessment, and engaging in professional development activities. The school is also in close proximity to Ware town centre and is only a 10-minute walk from Ware train station.

  • Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Ability to plan, teach and assess effectively a range of pupils
  • Ability to be creative and manage, motivate and inspire children
  • Ability to plan for and manage a team of support staff
  • Ability to liaise with multi-professionals
  • Experience in assessing child development and planning activities
  • Able to commit for the duration of the placement
  • Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning

  • Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge
