Overview

We are looking for energetic and hard-working Seasonal Sales Assistants to join The Entertainer team working in Welling Tesco Extra.

The Entertainers exciting partnership with Tesco means that you can shop for your Top Trump cards and your Turkey as well as a fantastic range of toys in a Tesco Superstore or Extra this Christmas!

Responsibilities
  • Based in this Tesco supermarket as a Tesco Seasonal Sales Assistant, you will be working with a small team to look after the toy aisles in our unique Entertainer branded space. You will be responsible for delivering a great shopping experience for our customers, keeping the shelves full and priced, and confidently answering toy-related questions with your toy knowledge.
  • With your remote Entertainer Manager's support and guidance, you will have the expertise to work on your own to carry out your main duties which include merchandising stock, replenishing the department, pricing and implementing promotions, while keeping the toy offering up to date and well stocked. Duties also include merchandising, handling deliveries, replenishing stock and price management.
  • Start-of-shift bay checks for pricing, stock gaps and recovering general standards.
  • Replenishment of the section, maintaining cleanliness and good organisation.
  • Maintain good communication with your colleagues and Line Manager.
  • Acknowledge customers in the aisles, make conversation and encourage a sale using your toy knowledge.
Working Hours and Contract
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, between the hours of 7am and 7pm is required.
  • Contracted weekly hours available – 8 hours per week.
  • Shift patterns and days will vary but will be notified in advance.
  • There may be an opportunity to work extra hours in this role depending on trade.
Rates of Pay
  • 16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour
  • 21-year-old plus - £12.36 per hour
