Overview

As a Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant, you will join our merry crew during the holiday peak period. Supporting our busy peak period, you will be the heart of our retail store, welcoming customers with a friendly smile and inspiring them to read, learn, create, or play. The role involves many deliveries and seasonal stock to manage, and it can be physically demanding (stairs and heavy stock). Our supportive team will be there to lend a helping hand.

Responsibilities

• Genuine and authentic: positivity, creativity, and passion for our brand and products shine through; communicate with customers and offer helpful recommendations.
• Resilient in a fast-paced retail environment; handle busy days and deliveries while multitasking effectively.
• Stock management and merchandising: sorting, pricing, and organizing deliveries as part of seasonal stock support.
• Provide a welcoming store experience and inspire customers to engage with our products.

Physical Demands

The role can be physically demanding; you should be comfortable with stairs and heavy stock. A supportive team will help where needed.

Contract and Availability

Fixed Term Contract ending on 31 December 2025. There is often potential for seasonal colleagues to move to a permanent basis after the initial festive contract. 8 hour contract.
