Right now, we’re looking for a part time registered nurse to work at our long term living service in Gloucester, Foundation House. The role will be 20hrs, 52 weeks per year. You will need to have held your nursing qualification for a minimum of 12months.
The residents at National Star are medically complex and have a range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy, ASD, Spina Bifida, global developmental delay, acquired brain injury and hearing or visual impairment. As their nurse, you’ll share your expertise with the team because together, we make sure each person gets the personalised health care they need to manage pain or symptoms of their conditions so they can live the life they want. For you and us, it’s all about promoting independence and enabling them to study, socialise, enjoy their passions, hobbies and day-to-day activities.
All nurses work shift patterns: early shifts from approximately 7am–2pm weekdays and 8am–3pm at weekends; late shifts from 1pm–7pm weekdays and 2pm–8pm at weekends. You will be required to work every other weekend.
