Job description

We are working with a leading pharmaceutical research facility that supports drug discovery programs from Target ID through to clinical candidacy. As a part of the cell‑biology & screening team, you will be responsible for running cell‑based screening and compound profiling assays to support ongoing research programs, applying multiple cell‑based assay techniques. You will also be responsible for analysing & interpreting data sets to support decisions on future experiments and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cell‑based screening assays to advance drug discovery projects.
• Analyse and interpret experimental data, preparing clear and concise reports for project teams.
• Maintain accurate scientific records using electronic lab notebooks and internal databases.
• Present results to internal teams and external partners.

Ideal Candidate

• Min. BSc Biochemistry or related subject.
• 1‑3 years industry experience of executing cell‑based screening assays for drug discovery.
• Strong mammalian cell culture experience (adherent & suspension).
• Experience or knowledge of high‑content imaging, flow cytometry, 3D culturing is highly advantageous.
• Excellent data processing & communication skills.
