Job summary

Job description

Overview

Working 37 hours per week between 8.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday for 39 weeks per year, term time only. A degree of flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• To prepare equipment, chemicals and specimens for practical sessions and examinations, including constructing and setting up equipment as required.
• To assist teachers and support students in practical demonstrations where possible.

Remuneration

Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine point 20, £21,005 rising to point 23, £21,821 (This is the prorated equivalent of the full-time scale £24,383 rising to £25,330).
