Overview

Science Technician — Pay: £100 - £125 per day; Contract: Full-time, term-time only; Location: Secondary school setting; Start: Immediate / ASAP.

Responsibilities
  • Support practical science lessons, prepare materials, maintain equipment, and ensure experiments run smoothly.
  • Play a vital role in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same, helping to inspire students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
The Candidate
  • Science graduate with previous experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Confident handling equipment, preparing practicals, and supporting staff and students in their scientific learning.
  • Genuine passion for science, strong organisational skills, and ability to work as part of a busy team.
  • Experience in a school is beneficial but not essential; willingness to adapt to an educational setting.
