A local educational institution in Kirkcaldy is seeking a School Support Assistant to help the class teacher with clerical tasks and support activities that contribute to pupil welfare. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, knowledge of child protection, and the ability to work as part of a team. This role offers 15 hours per week with a competitive salary package.

We are looking for a highly skilled School Support Assistant to assist the class teacher by undertaking a range of general and clerical tasks. The postholder will be responsible for preparing and maintaining classroom materials, supporting activities that contribute to the care and welfare of pupils and assisting pupils. Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
