The School of Arts and Humanities is seeking an IT Technician to join the School-wide IT team. The team provides a friendly and efficient support service to institutions and complements local IT resources. You will be the first point of contact for IT support in all aspects of computing and AV.
This role is ideal for someone already working in IT at the University of Cambridge and familiar with University systems. The position requires strong customer service skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Understanding a range of operating systems—including Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS clients—is essential. Candidates should be educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent understanding and skills.
This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in IT and customer service while contributing to the success of the IT Team.
The School of Arts and Humanities consists of eight faculties and three other institutions with 650 staff members. The IT Technicians work across the School supporting several institutions, including Modern & Medieval Languages and Linguistics, Classics, AMES, and Divinity.
