We are seeking a highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented Exams Officer & General Administrator to join our dedicated support staff team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and compliant delivery of public examinations while also providing high-quality administrative support across the school.
Manage and administer all aspects of internal and external examinations (GCSE, A level and other qualifications) in line with JCQ and awarding body regulations
Act as the main point of contact for exam boards, staff, students, and parents regarding examinations
Organise exam timetables, entries, access arrangements, invigilation, and results days
Maintain accurate exam records and data, including secure handling of confidential materials
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, correspondence, and reception cover as required
Support wider school operations during peak periods, particularly during exam seasons
Has experience as an Exams Officer or in a similar administrative role (school-based experience desirable)
Has excellent organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail
Is confident working with data, systems, and Microsoft Office
Can work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Is professional, discreet, and able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Is flexible and willing to support general administrative functions when needed
