Job summary

Are you a driven and experienced Scheme Project Manager looking for your next challenge in the rail sector?

Our client is seeking a multidisciplinary Scheme PM to join a major rail framework in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role in high-impact rail projects, with a focus on off-track and signalling works (advantageous but not essential).

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scheme Project Manager within Rail
• PRINCE2 Foundation (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong stakeholder engagement & communication skills
• Experience in contracting, project delivery & budget management
• Knowledge of project safety management & HSE legislation

Duties:

• Manage tactical change and risks within the project lifecycle for allocated schemes.
• Assist or lead in creating a safe working environment during managed work execution.
• Comply with the Investment Competence Framework.
• Manage the production of project management plans.
• Manage project budgets within agreed targets.
