Your Role!

As an Independent Living Officer your role will be to provide a flexible responsive service, assessing and responding where appropriate to the needs of the older people within the Independent Living Service in the Borough, enabling our clients to retain their independence. You will introduce new tenants to the service and ensure they are aware of the level of services we have available and liaise with other support services both voluntary and statutory, in order to achieve the best outcome for the clients.

About You!

You will be a great communicator who can confidently build relationships and trust with their clients, representatives and support agencies with the ability to diffuse conflict and encourage harmonious relationships. You will have previous experience of working with older people in a support setting and completing personal plans and risk assessments with clients and their representatives.
