A housing organization in Horsham seeks an enthusiastic Scheme Manager to support older people in independent living. You will manage housing services, including tenancy management and partnership working. Ideal candidates will have experience with vulnerable groups and strong communication skills. Are you passionate about supporting older people and delivering an excellent customer experience? Saxon Weald are looking for an organised, resilient and enthusiastic Scheme Manager to join our housing team and help contribute to our purpose of enabling positive life chances by providing safe and secure homes.
The role will be working 29.5 hours per week, spread across four days. We can be flexible as to which days these are, as long as Fridays are included. The role will be predominantly based at one of our schemes in Horsham (Gerald Court) with one day per week spent completing checks at another local scheme.
Our Scheme Managers’ key priority is to facilitate and enable older people in retirement housing to live as independently as possible. On a day‑to‑day basis, you will be responsible for providing continuity for residents and colleagues in delivering excellent scheme‑based services including :
