Overview

The purpose of the job is to provide the crucial role of ensuring that care is delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with both people’s needs and staff availability using electronic systems. You will coordinate and allocate care staff to people accessing the service, ensuring that all care visits are covered. You may also undertake confidential administrative support to managers, using appropriate systems, procedures and resources, ensuring that North Northamptonshire Council policies and values are complied with and reporting deadlines are met.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling staff to care calls across North Northamptonshire
  • Co-ordinating hospital discharges and changes to the service for existing people
  • Processing annual leave and training requirements of the team
  • Assisting with other office tasks as required
  • Generally supporting colleagues with administrative/IT tasks with a respectful, efficient and trustworthy approach
