Responsibilities

• Writing clean, secure code following a test-driven approach.
• Creating code that is open by default and easy for others to reuse.
• Translating logical designs into physical designs.
• Producing detailed designs.
• Documenting all work using required standards and methods.
• Integrating API/UI components with existing data stores.
• Maintaining existing architectural components including Data Ingest and REST APIs.
• Participating in sprint ceremonies with the agile team.
• Assisting the wider team to understand upcoming API features.
• Collaborating with user researchers.
• Explaining the difference between user needs and desires.
