Job Summary

Asthe SBLC Global Product Executive Director headwithin Trade & Working Capital, you will have global accountability and ownership for product strategy, P&L and end to end product delivery. You will leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Trade & Working Capital (“TW&C”) is a division of J.P. Morgan Payments.TW&C connects counterparties with market-leading Core Trade Products (e.g. Trade Loans, Corporate Draft Discounting, Commercial and Standby LCs) Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance and Export Agency Finance (EAF).Standby LC is an instrumental product not only for TW&C, but also for various other LOBs within JPMorgan that rely on the product as well.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets; Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives;Oversee business continuity resiliency plans
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and especially commercialization, with a strong focus on identifying and capturing new market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue growth. Continuously adapts, develops new products and methodologies, manages risks, monitors and reports on product exceptions, and achieves business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Manages product levelP&L, balance sheet, RWA and capital, including planning and forecasting, forecasting management and reconciliation
  • Ensure readiness for OCC and Audit; engage with Audit/Trade Controls
  • Serve as the key point of connection with regulators and local governance bodies
  • Ensure products have obtained required regulatory, controls, and compliance signoff prior to launch
  • Ensures understanding of the client and regional market, and emerging trends to identify gaps and opportunities; research market dynamics and competitor landscapeand identify opportunities for product differentiation
  • Partners with Technology and Product Delivery to deliver a competitive digital platform strategy
  • Manages product level governance and risk and control environment, including product approvals and renewals and cross functional collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance
  • Drives commercialization efforts by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Relationship Management teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies, client engagement plans, and market penetration initiatives
  • Proactively identifies new business opportunities, market segments, and client needs to expand the reach and impact of the Standby LC product globally.
  • Demonstrated success in commercializing financial products, including developing go-to-market strategies and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and client needs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Able to demonstrate senior level experience & expertise delivering products, projects, or technology application
  • Experience in Trade & Working Capital
  • Experience working with regulators and local governance bodies
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven experience working with large global teams and driving cross-regional collaboration
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and management skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
