We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Validation and Integration Team Lead to join our innovative team. This role is critical for overseeing the validation and integration processes of our satellite communication and processing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system integration and testing, with experience in leading technical teams and driving projects to successful completion. As the Validation and Integration Team Lead, you will ensure that all systems meet design specifications and performance requirements, working closely with cross‑functional teams to facilitate seamless integration and validation.

What you will be doing
  • Lead the validation and integration efforts for satellite communication payloads and embedded processing systems, ensuring all systems meet design specifications and performance standards.
  • Develop and implement validation and integration plans, including testing strategies, methodologies, and schedules.
  • Oversee all phases of the integration process, including initial testing, system integration, and final validation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve integration and validation issues.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of testing procedures, results, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentor and guide team members in best practices for system validation and integration.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively to achieve project milestones.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in system validation and integration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in system integration and validation, preferably in satellite communication or space applications.
  • Strong understanding of validation processes, test methodologies, and system integration requirements.
  • Proven experience with RF testing and telecom system testing.
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing cross‑functional projects.
  • Proficiency in test data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with test automation and software tools for integration and validation, including CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with satellite communication protocols and performance metrics.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
Advantages

  • Familiarity with 5G waveform, DVB‑S2X, CCSDS modems, DPDK, and VPP L2/L3 processing.

  • Experience in executing a European Space Agency (ESA) lead project.
  • Experience working with and managing subcontractors.
