Job summary

A leading consulting firm is looking for an SAP Security Consultant to join their utilities client for an initial 12-month contract. This role requires at least 7 years of experience in SAP Security and hands-on familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and various SaaS platforms. Candidates can work remotely from Canada but must be available to work PST hours. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Job description

Our utilities client is seeking a SAP Security Consultant -

Initially a 12-months contract. 37.5 hours/week. Remote candidates can be submitted if they meet the requirement of the role and can work PST hours - must be working within Canada.

Must haves :

• 7+ years of SAP Security experience
• 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security Architecture, including administration, role design, and project delivery across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SaaS platforms such as SuccessFactors, Ariba, BTP, CX
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent experience

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge of audit and compliance standards such as SOX, NERC CIP, GDPR, and how they apply to SAP environments.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

• Exposure to cloud security models and hybrid architectures involving on-premises and cloud-based SAP applications.

• Experience integrating SAP security with identity governance platforms

• Experience in the utility industry, with familiarity in regulatory frameworks, operational risk, and compliance requirements specific to energy or infrastructure sectors.
