A leading tech solutions provider is seeking an experienced SAP Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) Senior Consultant in Greater London. The role demands strong expertise in SAP PPM within S/4HANA, involving governance oversight and project management. Here at DXC Technology we continue to grow our SAP practice. We are seeking an experienced SAP Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) Senior Consultant to deliver portfolio oversight and project governance solutions in SAP S/4HANA programmes. The role ensures organisations can prioritise, monitor and control investment portfolios enabling informed decision‑making and alignment with corporate strategy.
Due to the nature of our clients' work we can only consider sole British Nationals that have lived and worked in the UK consecutively for the past 5 years; unfortunately we are unable to consider dual nationals currently.
As a Senior Consultant you will configure and deliver SAP PPM processes covering portfolio structures, prioritisation models, resource management and performance dashboards. You will collaborate with PMO Finance and Project Systems teams to ensure portfolio‑level reporting is accurate, integrated and compliant with governance requirements.
Conduct workshops with PMO and business stakeholders to capture portfolio and project governance requirements.
Configure SAP PPM elements including portfolio buckets, items, scoring models, prioritisation rules and resource planning.
Deliver dashboards and reporting for portfolio performance, spend vs. budget and project health.
Ensure integration with Project System (PS), Commercial Project Management (CPM) and Finance (FI/CO).
Support functional specifications for WRICEF developments in reporting workflow and approvals.
Participate in SIT/UAT cycles, cutover rehearsals and go‑live support.
Provide knowledge transfer to PMO teams on portfolio governance and reporting capabilities.
Strong functional expertise in SAP PPM within S/4HANA.
Hands‑on configuration of portfolio buckets, items, scoring models and prioritisation frameworks.
Understanding of portfolio governance approvals and resource planning processes.
Familiarity with integration to PS, CPM and Finance.
Knowledge of SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) or embedded analytics for portfolio reporting desirable.
Proven ability to produce functional specifications, test artefacts and training materials.
SAP Activate methodology.
Solution Manager / JIRA for test and change management.
SAP S/4HANA Portfolio & Project Management (PPM).
SAP Fiori apps for PPM (Portfolio Overview, Item Scoring, Resource Planning).
Degree in Project Management, Business or IT.
SAP Certification in PPM (S/4HANA) desirable.
Project governance or portfolio management credentials advantageous (P3O, MoP).
Strong engagement skills with PMO, Finance and executive stakeholders.
Ability to simplify portfolio processes into clear deliverables.
Analytical mindset with focus on decision‑support and compliance.
Collaborative team player able to mentor junior consultants and share best practices.
