Job summary

A leading food processing company in Bonnyrigg seeks a Hygiene Operative to ensure cleanliness across production areas. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role and in a production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise production equipment and workspaces in accordance to hygiene schedules.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.
• Participate in the routine cleaning of the equipment and machinery within the production facility.
• Safe handling of chemicals.
• Completion of records in a timely manner.
• Work with other team members to maintain a clean and organised environment.
• Assist with the recycling process by operating recycling equipment.
