Salesperson - Food Company (Temporary, Potentially Permanent)

We are a well-established food company seeking a reliable and trustworthy Van Salesman to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Role

• Driving a Luton van initially, moving to a smaller van in the near future
• Delivering and selling food products to an established customer round
• Serving existing customers – the round is already set up
• Weekly sales target of approximately £10,000
• Collecting payments from customers; honesty and reliability are essential
• Working hours: 8:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

Pay & Benefits

• £12.50 per hour basic pay
• 3% commission on all money collected
• Established round with immediate earning potential

Contract Type

This is a temporary role while the current employee is off sick and may return in February.

Potential to become permanent if the current employee does not return.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable driving a Luton van
• Trustworthy and dependable
• Good customer service skills
• Experience in food sales or food delivery preferred but not essential
• Basic food hygiene knowledge is an advantage
