Overview

Position: Sales Specialist – Culverden store. By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career. This role involves sound farming product advice to loyal customers, merchandising, and customer service, with entry-level administrative tasks as part of day-to-day duties.

Responsibilities
  • Provide sound farming product advice to customers at the Culverden store.
  • Merchandising and customer service duties as part of a fast-paced store environment.
  • Assist with entry-level administrative tasks: processing customer orders and invoices, updating product pricing and stock levels in systems.
  • Manage store filing, maintain tidy and accurate records, and support end-of-day cash balancing and banking preparation.
  • Engage with customers to deliver quality service and support store operations to ensure smooth daily processes.
Qualifications
  • Self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • High level of physical fitness; able to perform repetitive manual handling (e.g., lifting 25 kg bags of product daily).
  • Ideally some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry; open to those moving from farm or current customer experts keen to learn about ag/dairy.
  • Rural experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Good level of physical fitness for daily activity.
  • Clean driver’s license.
  • Forklift license – or willingness to attain one.
