At Pure Barre we believe in building a studio community that empowers and inspires the lifestyle and fitness goals of our members. We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Sales Representative focused on driving sales and service excellence to grow the Pure Barre community. This is an opportunity to interact with clients daily and help create a supportive and meaningful community.
The Sales Representative assists the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building relationships, providing a positive experience, and guiding them through the sales process to a membership sale. The role also assists with retaining members and delivering exceptional customer service. Boutique fitness knowledge is preferred but not required.
A note: The perfect candidate would be available to work 2-3 shifts per week, with mornings 8:00–2:00 and/or evenings 4:00–8:30. Weekend shifts rotating 7:00–2:00. Currently we are looking for Friday 8:00–2:00 and weekend rotations (Saturday and Sunday). Compensation starts at $12/hr with a free membership to the 3 RVA Pure Barre studios, plus bonuses and commissions.
We are seeking long-term team members who can work independently in a sales-heavy environment, have an outgoing personality, enjoy talking with people, and demonstrate phone etiquette with eagerness to learn and promote Pure Barre.
We do not make cold calls. We obtain people's information because they provide it to us. This is a sales position with ongoing activity and monthly goals to support the studio’s health.
In addition to sales, responsibilities include handling basic member issues and using a POS system for retail purchases.
