Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets on room hire, food and beverage.
  • Design, plan and deliver a sales plan and strategy, working alongside the Marketing & Events Manager.
  • Grow the business through maximising uptake and spend per head.
  • Identify new business opportunities, demonstrate and implement innovation whenever possible.
  • Proactively grow and develop relationships with prospective and existing key accounts.
  • Ensure all sales collateral is in line with the venue's marketing plan.
  • Create quality proposals for our clients - corporate, private and social.
  • Oversee and manage invoicing and payment for the events.
  • To win and retain business and to promote awareness of all facilities and services available.
  • Manage, motivate, support, drive, provide guidance and development for all members of the onsite sales team.
  • Design compelling sales proposals that tell the venue's story.
  • Great team management skills.
  • Proactivity in dealing with all enquiries (telephone / email) to ensure that they are dealt with in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Great client relationship skills.
