The Company

The Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Sales Manager. In this role you will lead a team of two, guiding them as they support clients and referral partners through the entire quote process. You will drive revenue growth, optimise sales processes, build high-value partnerships, and ensure an excellent experience for all customers and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach, motivate and mentor a team of two to achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Build, develop and retain a high-performing team in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • Monitor calls and emails to improve quality, minimise errors and track team performance.
  • Recruit and retain new team members to support company growth.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline review, KPI monitoring and performance reporting.
  • Ensure CRM systems are used effectively to track leads, activity and performance; oversee data quality and reporting.
  • Analyse sales metrics and conversion to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Design and optimise sales processes, contact flows, scripts and messaging for different client segments to drive consistency and scalability across the team.
  • Identify, approach and secure new partnership opportunities to support business growth.
  • Oversee the onboarding and relationship management of referral partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other teams to align campaigns, lead generation and partnership activity.
  • Lead by example by providing consultative, client-focused sales interactions with prospective clients, answering questions, and driving quote conversions.

Requirements
  • Proven B2C and B2B sales management experience within financial, legal, property, utilities or other scale-up environments.
  • Demonstrable experience building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms, sales analytics and reporting.
  • Experience managing sales pipeline and delivering accurate forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and an affinity for data-driven decision making.
Salary

£40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE) plus on-target earnings of up to £10,000 – £12,500
