OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will be skilled at operating in a dynamic environment and will take full responsibility for the achieving commercial objectives, and leading a small, high-performing team.They will uphold the highest standards of presentation and customer service, with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.

  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase brand visibility, drive footfall, and improve profitability.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Design and sell kitchens, wardrobes, and complex furniture systems from the in-house collection.
  • Lead by example, setting standards and driving a high-performance culture.
  • Motivate and mentor the sales team to meet or exceed targets.
  • Prepare project proposals, quotations, and pricing using approved software, including Vectorworks or similar tools.
  • Maintain excellent store conditions, including merchandising and cleanliness.
  • Report on sales trends, forecasts, and commercial opportunities in the pipeline.
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with internal policies and operational procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and showroom inventory, reporting as necessary.
  • Conduct team performance reviews and identify training or development needs.
  • Attend internal meetings, training sessions, and participate in trade events, exhibitions, or marketing initiatives as required.
  • Oversee the execution of orders and project installations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage customer communications regarding payments, outstanding balances, and dispute resolution.
  • Conduct site visits when required to liaise with technical staff and ensure accurate delivery.
  • Ensure completion and sign-off of installation reports and project handovers.
Requirements

  • Prior management experience is essential.
  • The ability to support and develop a close-knit team to meet performance goals with a proven sales record above £1m in personal annual sales.
