Overview

A fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a well established British manufacturer of process plant connectivity solutions supplied mainly to the food industry with a brief to grow sales. You will be working with a large blue chip installed base and lots of marketing generated enquiries with a very realistic team target and complete technical and sales support.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and create client needs, communicate technically back to the company to generate proposals and quotes and then to close.
  • Work with a team with a team target and provide full technical and sales support.
  • Develop new business from CRM and digital marketing enquiries.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Proven track record in field sales in an industrial, engineering or technical company.
  • Ideally experience selling capital equipment or a technical solution to the food industry.
  • Any experience of product handling or process plant connectivity solutions advantageous.
  • An engineering or technical background and qualifications advantageous.
Company

A very well established British manufacturer of process plant connectivity solutions including conveyors mainly supplied to the food industry. Order values range from £10,000 up to £200,000 (and up to £500,000 for turnkey systems).

Compensation & Benefits
  • Basic salary up to £60,000
  • OTE circa £10,000
  • Company Car

Location

Location: Covering the whole UK, home based and ideally living on the M6 corridor between Birmingham & Manchester. Commutable locations: Manchester, Birmingham, Stoke, Derby, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Nottingham.
