This role will be carried out remotely with weekly visits to the client sites involved.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Traka UK Technical Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Offering practical and technical assistance with product demonstrations and answering technical questions for the sales team and customers directly.
- Translating customers’ requirements into achievable solutions and engaging directly with the R&D team to propose developments.
- Supporting the wider Traka UK business with solution and technical expertise.
- Leading end‑to‑end technical engagement across the customer lifecycle, including solution design, technical specifications, customer demonstrations, tenders and advanced pre‑ and post‑sales support.
- Designing and documenting integrated key and asset management solutions, producing customer‑ready specifications and scope of works documentation to support sales opportunities and complex project delivery.
- Acting as a senior technical partner to Sales and Projects, project‑managing complex technical solutions (e.g. integrations, SSO, bespoke designs) and supporting implementation and escalation where required.
- Collaborating closely with wider technical operations and support teams, contributing to team cohesion, product development feedback, certification training, end‑user training and knowledge sharing across the business.
- Representing Traka in customer‑facing and business activities including trade shows, technical advisory support and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and ongoing operational needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- The ability to solve complex technical problems by analyzing challenges from multiple angles and proposing effective solution options.
- The ability to plan and organise work effectively, producing clear, accurate and well‑structured technical documentation.
- The ability to design, review and deploy technical solutions, including hands‑on software installation across integrated or multi‑platform environments.
- The ability to apply strong IT and networking knowledge including Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, SQL), software systems and TCP/IP networking principles.
- Willingness to travel as required to support customers and projects; holding a full driving licence is essential.
