A prominent cleaning company in London is looking for a Sales Director to expand their commercial cleaning contracts. The ideal candidate will have extensive sales experience, particularly in writing tenders and managing bids. Responsibilities include leading sales initiatives and managing a team. The position offers a salary of approximately £60k-£70k, with additional incentives and benefits.
Established over thirty years ago, my client is a successful, family-run commercial cleaning company based in London with a healthy growth and a circa £13m turnover. They provide a broad variety of soft FM/cleaning services across the UK with a network of local offices. They hold the principles and ethics on which they were founded and remain at the heart of what they do today, with a deep commitment to delivering excellent client satisfaction to a client base across many sectors.
I am currently working in partnership with them to recruit an industry experienced (contract cleaning) sales professional to become their London Sales Director. The company has telesales support, access to tender portals, and receives a good number of quality enquiries from their website. The successful candidate would also engage in proactive activities to pinpoint sales opportunities. This role will be multifaceted, with a personal target to meet and also the management of a BDM, with the plan to appoint a second BDM. The Sales Director must be experienced in tenders and larger bids and in seeking out regular BDM opportunities. They are aiming to continue double digit organic growth across all sectors in London, focusing on increasing the average size of contracts won.
The client wants to consider all potential suitable candidates, so targets and the basic salary will be negotiable.
