Sales Consultant

As Sales Consultant you will warmly welcome Caravane’s customers offering them the assistance they need.

Your daily tasks will include:

1. Welcoming clients in a shop/retail environment and helping them find their inspiration through style, design, storytelling.
2. Consulting about interior and furniture, advising customers by providing information on products. Helping customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions
3. Documenting sales by creating or updating customer profile records
4. Receiving deliveries and ensuring recommended merchandising and labelling. Arranging deliveries to clients and dealing with post-sales customer service
5. Keeping clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
6. Contributing to team effort by identifying high-value projects. identify prospective clients and work with existing accounts to generate new creative ideas/projects, develop proposals, execute orders, and ensure quality and consistency of service and product delivery.

You have excellent customer service skills. You are energetic with a friendly approach to sales and good telephone manners. You are into interior design and sensitive to colours and fabrics. You have the ability to read floor plans and advise clients on space planning. You are computer literate.

Relevant sales experience in furniture is preferable. A knowledge of the French language is appreciated.
