A family-run retail business in York is seeking a sales assistant for their Richmond store. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining store standards, and processing sales. Applicants should have good communication skills and a customer service focus. Previous retail experience is an advantage but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour for those aged 21 and over, along with other benefits.
Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 35 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.
We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our Richmond store.
The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings.
Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company's growth and revenue through sales maximisation.
Previous retail experience would be beneficial but is not essential as training will be given.
