Overview

Our client is an independent family-run distributor of medical products and chemist sundry lines to the UK independent pharmacy market. They have an exciting new employment opportunity in a sales/marketing role, where the successful applicant would join a friendly and ambitious team within a dynamic small business environment. A competitive salary and benefits package are available.

The Role

  • Provide support and cover for the Sales & Marketing team
  • Organise sales and marketing campaigns
  • Prepare sales representative and customer presentations
  • Conduct market research for new products
  • Contribute to the company's social media and online platforms
  • Participate in trade exhibitions
  • Distribute printed materials to potential customers

The Person

  • Articulate with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills for dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Good administrative skills necessary
  • Basic IT skills important; familiarity with social media advantageous
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
