Job description
Overview

Do you enjoy working with a diverse portfolio of rural estates?

Are you bored of everyday looking the same?

This could be your next role.

In a forward-thinking and well-established surveying firm, you could be managing the day-to-day management of estates across East Anglia. You'll identify and develop new business opportunities to build on the existing portfolio of the team.

The role will give you scope to work on a diverse range of estates. Think sporting rights, diversification, tenancy matters, forestry, residential property, environmental advice…

Recent projects the team have worked on vary from tax valuation of 4,000 acre estate to long term strategic environmental advice to a charity including carbon potential and biodiversity net gain.

Alongside this, you'll be working on typical estate management tasks. You'll work on the general management of Agricultural and Residential tenancies, some Commercial lets, sporting and forestry. You'll develop diversification ideas including renewables and other business opportunities and prepare Digital Plans.

Qualifications

You'll be MRICS qualified, either have experience in managing a portfolio of estates or the desire to and ideally be a CAAV valuer or have experience in valuation, but this is not essential.

Whilst you'll be reporting to Partners of the business, you will work autonomously and be expected to work independently and take initiative on your work.

Team and Opportunities

Strategically working with other departments, you'll develop new sales opportunities and maintain consistency and efficiency. Within the team, you'll be pro-active in participating in the development of a strong team.
