Job description

The Royal Mint Experience are looking for Tourguides to join their team to work part time hours.

Hours vary: 8:30 am to 9:30 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and school holidays (with the first tour at 9 am and the last at 8 pm), and 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm on weekdays (with the first tour at 3 pm and the last at 8 pm).

Stafforce are looking to employ a number of Tour Guides to work a minimum of 6 hours per week. You will be required to be flexible and be able to work between Monday – Sunday including evenings on a rota based system.

Key Accountabilities

• Embrace the idea of 'the team' and actively work to ensure the success of the attraction. A conscientious attitude, ability to follow the script given and be open to receiving feedback from the management team.
• Ensure you are always punctual, ready to start working at the time your shift starts.
• Ensure the highest standards of presentation are maintained throughout the attraction at all times.
• Be courteous and professional to guests at all times.
• Observe and report to the General/Duty Manager immediately any incidents which may affect the presentation, other employees or guests of the visitor attraction.

Essential

• Experience in retail, using tills, stock replenishment.

• Experience in group management to maintain tight booking times.

• Awareness of health and safety.
• Storytelling/interest in history.

Part‑time hours: Minimum 6 hours per week.
