Qualifications

• Evidence of on-going relevant continuing professional development.
• Experience within relevant clinical environment.
• Newborn Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of individualised care.
• Undertake delegated responsibility in the absence of the Ward Manager.
• Coordinate and manage patient care.

Skills

Good level of post registration experience

Excellent midwifery clinical skills

Effective teaching and training skills

Verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Child Protection issues

Education

Registered Midwife

Possession of a relevant degree or studying towards

Evidence of Alternative Therapies training
