A wonderful family in Kensington, who come highly recommended, are looking for a second rota nanny to take care of their one year old boy. They have a Norland nanny also beginning in January who will make up the second half of the rota team.
This is a well structured rota position working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, with no overnight duties. The family are flexible regarding accommodation and are happy for the nanny to live in or live out during their shift, although when they are spending time in Suffolk this will need to be live in.
The family have a four-bedroom family apartment in London, located close to High Street Kensington tube station, with Holland Park/Kensington Gardens a short 15 minute walk away. In Suffolk they have a 6-bedroom country house with separate annex /studio with kitchenette and en-suite bathroom which would be used by the nanny exclusively. They also have a gym in the house which would be available and a large garden.
The family are looking for someone warm, energetic and sociable who can organise playdates, support activities and bring a fun, happy approach to daily life, integrating seamlessly into their household.
The little one previously had a night nanny and day nanny for the first 6 months and is in an excellent routine. His days are structured around morning classes such as Monkey Music, Mini Mozart and swimming, followed by a long lunchtime nap of two to three hours. Afternoons usually involve play, walks, outdoor time and activities at home. He sleeps 7pm -8am and is an excellent eater!
A driver is preferred, particularly for Suffolk, though this is not essential.
